A Magical Journey Through Snowy Streets and Frozen History

Day 1: Arrival & First Steps in a Winter Wonderland

7:00 AM – Depart school aboard a luxury heated motorcoach, watching the landscape transform into winter scenes as you head north.

2:15 PM – Arrive in Lévis where your adventure begins with a ferry ride across the frozen St. Lawrence River, the ice crunching beneath you as Québec City’s skyline comes into view.

2:45 PM – Step onto the cobblestone streets of Lower Town (Basse-Ville), following your guide past 17th-century buildings adorned with twinkling lights. The funicular ride to Upper Town takes you up the icy cliff face to the majestic Château Frontenac.

6:00 PM – Dinner at Restaurant L’Entrecote St-Jean where you’ll feast on traditional steak/frites (and other selection of course) cuisine surrounded by ancient stone walls and hand-hewn beams.

7:45 PM – Evening visit to the the Martello Tower for an interactive workshop on the “Life of a Soldier”/strong>, during the British Occupation.


Day 2: Ice Palaces & Winter Thrills

7:30 AM – Breakfast at Café Buade in the Latin Quarter, where the scent of fresh croissants and hot chocolate fills the air.

8:45 AM – Group photo in front of the Château Frontenac before departing for the incredible Hôtel de Glace (Ice Hotel).

10:00 AM – Explore the spectacular ice palace made from 11,000 tons of snow and 350 tons of ice. Marvel at the ice sculptures, chapel, and even an ice bar!

1:00 PM – Afternoon of winter fun at Village Vacances featuring:
Tornado tubing (giant spinning inner tubes)
42 different slides and winter activities
2.5 km skating trail through scenic landscapes

6:00 PM – Evening at an authentic cabane à sucre (sugar shack) for a feast of traditional foods followed by folk dancing and maple taffy on snow.


Day 3: Dog Sledding & Farewell to Winter

6:30 AM – Early wake-up to prepare for today’s dog sledding adventure! Dress in your warmest winter gear.

6:45 AM – Breakfast at Le Cochon Dingue in Petit Champlain, the oldest neighborhood in North America.

8:30 AM – Depart for Saint Nicolas where you’ll meet your team of huskies and learn to mush your own sled through 20 km of pristine winter wilderness.

12:30 PM – Begin your journey home with a lunch stop in Drummondville, where you can try authentic Québecois poutine before the final leg of your trip.
