Day 1: Arrival & Old Montréal Exploration

Morning:
• Depart by motorcoach early morning
• Arrive in Montréal around noon
• Check into Best Western Ville Marie or Queen Elizabeth Hotel

1:30 PM: Guided walking tour of Old Montréal:
Notre-Dame Basilica (exterior visit)
Place Jacques-Cartier
Old Port waterfront
City Hall and Château Ramezay

6:00 PM: Group dinner at Modavie (French bistro with live jazz)

8:00 PM: Evening activity:
• Summer option: Old Port ferris wheel
• Winter option: Underground city exploration


Day 2: Culture & History Day

8:00 AM: Breakfast at hotel

9:00 AM: Pointe-à-Callière Museum (Montréal Archaeology Museum):
• Walk through actual 17th-century sewers
• Multimedia show about city’s history
• Temporary exhibition (varies by season)

12:00 PM: Lunch in Chinatown (group meal or food court options)

1:30 PM: Olympic Park visit:
Biodôme (ecosystems tour)
Olympic Tower observation deck (weather permitting)

6:00 PM: Dinner Option A: La Banquise (famous poutine restaurant)
Dinner Option B: Sugar Shack Experience at nearby cabane à sucre:
• Traditional maple-glazed ham feast
• Live folk music and dancing
Tire sur neige (maple taffy on snow)
*Requires 45-minute bus transfer each way*

8:00 PM: Evening activity choice:
IMAX movie at Science Centre
Sports event if Canadiens/Impact are playing


Day 3: Modern Montréal & Departure

8:00 AM: Breakfast at hotel

9:00 AM: Option A: McCord Museum or Redpath Museum (natural history)
Option B: McGill University Campus Tour:
• Guided walk through Canada’s top-ranked university
• Visit historic buildings and student centers
• Q&A about university life and admissions

11:00 AM: Mount Royal excursion:
• Walk up to Kondiaronk Belvedere
• Group photo with city skyline
• Visit Beaver Lake (seasonal activities)

1:00 PM: Lunch in Plateau Mont-Royal neighborhood

2:30 PM: Depart for home
