This was our first time staying at the Shangri-la. Everything was perfect. Everyone there was so nice and helpful and the rooms and amenities were great! Our kids loved the hotel and the pool and the staff event sent up little bath robs and slippers for our girls.
We had the best time! The staff was all so friendly and attentive. All of our needs were accommodated in a timely fashion. We loved the live music in the lobby, hot tub, spa, amazing gym. The rooms are a great size, we loved the huge tub in our room and loved the high tech drapes, lights, etc. The room service food is 24/7 and we loved having a delicious late night burger! The best room service quality food I have ever had. We loved the breakfast in the restaurant - it was also delicious!
I cannot say enough about the staff and management. It clearly starts at the top and doesn’t skip a beat all the way down the ladder. Jorge in concierge is such a class act and doesn’t just help you with local ideas (the same old places everyone talks about) but he gives you personalized experiences from his own visits. His recommendations and his class manner is exactly what I expect from Shangri-La. This set our visit up for endless amazing possibilities. However, if you’re staying at Shangri-la Toronto, it is an ABSOLUTE MUST, that you meet the dining/lounge manager Sultan. He can change your visit from great to out of this world. Him and his lounge team are top notch! He has personal relations with the chef that can make you anything from a cake, chocolate delights or even a giant cookie! He smile is contagious and you can see how he genuinely loves his job. His staff also are so welcoming (Thank you Jessica) and accommodate your every request. This management team clearly has all the right people in the right place. There is no better hotel currently in Toronto.
The Shangri-La Toronto Concierge Team was outstanding! I want to thank Jorge, Aarie, and Dean, especially for making my birthday staycation memorable. Jorge, your thoughtfulness and genuine care touched me. I initially considered cancelling my reservation because I could have stayed at Soho Toronto for $300 less, thanks to a 20% discount I have there. However, because of your exceptional service, I decided to keep my reservation at Shangri-La Toronto! Thank you for everything; you, indeed, are amazing! I also extend my thanks to the entire team for the thoughtful gifts and for making my room so inviting and beautiful with the pink rose bouquet and the cake. Finally, Jorge took care of me after my dinner reservation, which did not go well. Again, he went above and beyond to ensure my birthday evening ended positively and upliftingly! I cannot show my gratitude enough for his hospitality! I appreciate you, Jorge; you care about the person, and it shows! P.S. The hotel lobby entertainment is a vibe! You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here in my opinion!
We had a wonderful stay. The staff are so welcoming and hospitable. The location is close by to transit and easy to get around from. The room had a great view of the city and the CN Tower. The lobby always had live music in the afternoon/evening. The attention to detail is great. Definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful night at the Shangri-La in Toronto. The service was amazing. We had prompt and lovely room service, and the security team used there cameras to retrace my steps and help me find a lost item! The pool, sauna, and steam room were like going to a spa. The beds were comfortable and the pillows just the right firmness. I had a wonderful sleep in luxury.
Great room, great pool and restaurant and centrally located. The lobby with showcases containing garments from famous designers and a piano bar for refreshments was unique and very inviting.Hallways and rooms are all beautifully decorated. The room was much larger than a standard room and the bathroom was like a spa experience with a bathtub and a large shower. My new Toronto choice!

For the second time now, for his birthday, we have been treating our son—along with his wife and our granddaughter—to a weekend at the Shangri-La Toronto. Both times were wonderful. We’ve enjoyed great breakfasts and dinners at the Bosk restaurant as well as snacks in the bar and lounge areas. The pool, along with the hot tub and sauna, are a big hit, especially with our granddaughter. The vicinity of the hotel to theatres is a plus for out-of-town visitors like us. But what we’ve all appreciated the most on each visit is the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff, at all levels. You will not encounter any staff member there without a smile on their face and a willingness to assist you.
